Today’s word is Victory!

Today’s move is Walk, Jog or Run!

Today’s verse is Isaiah 39:2!

“Hezekiah was pleased and showed them his treasure house—the silver, the gold, the spices, the precious oil, his entire armory and everything that was found in his treasuries. There was nothing in his house nor in all his area of dominion that Hezekiah did not show them.”

Prayer & Reflection:

If a missionary came and stayed with you for a weekend, told you to stay home and await a gift from Amazon would you do it? If a family friend came over and said let’s stay in and camp in the garden for the weekend would you be willing to get out your sleeping bag? Jesus always challenges me to think about whether or not I would be willing to follow his instruction. He offers Heaven, Hope and Help for everyday life with us here on earth. It’s a difficult concept for us to believe in the unseen parts of what will come to pass, but with Jesus we can trust more deeply the things of heaven than the things of this world. We can trust Jesus.

As we continue to search the world and all humanity for answers we really need seek no further than Christ. If we can not only trust, but depend on and lean on Jesus we will truly become free. If we can hold our tongues, deny our self pride and seek only the Kingdom of God all these things will be added unto ourselves as well.

The fear of comparison, self doubt and anxiety must also be denied. To truly trust Jesus we must not hold onto anything else. We must let go of the world and hold only the hand of Jesus in prayer, in life and in all things in Jesus name. Amen

Let us Pray…

Father release us from ourselves, free us to love only you and serve only you. Help us to not fear ourselves or others, but hold only you at the Centre of all things in Jesus name.

Amen
