Opening Prayer
Father God as we approach the day today help us to find peace in the midst of our uncertainty, unhappiness and inadequacy. Help us to find hope in you O Lord so we may return back to you in songs of joy, with uplifting choruses of our love for you and our Neighbour in Jesus name. Amen
Psalm 74 Todays Victory
“The day is Yours, the night also is Yours; You have established and prepared the [heavenly] light and the sun.”

Reflection
Recently I visited St Paul’s Cathedral for morning prayer and on my way out I witnessed the picture where Jesus was standing in the door way had been moved. It refers to the scripture when Jesus is inviting himself into our lives, he’s always been there and we just need to let Him in. The day is before us and we stand, knock and seek Gods presence in all we do.
““Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. [Luke 11:9-13].” Matthew 7:7 AMP
In fact, when I went to the location where the picture had been relocated the picture was hidden behind scaffolding and a replica had been put up in its place. As if Jesus was busy and our future was under construction. Jesus was behind the scenes in real life and in eternity preparing a place for us.
This is much like eternity. What we do here on earth is rewarded in Heaven, not on earth and Jesus is making room for us right now in Heaven!
“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.”
John 14:3 AMP
Later in today’s Psalm it refers to a day of not yet, much like Christ proclaims a place for us in the future where we will be in eternity with Him.
“You have defined and established all the borders of the earth [the divisions of land and sea and of the nations]; You have made summer and winter. [Acts 17:26]”

Today we maybe in days of summer and perhaps emotionally it feels like Winter, but remember where your help comes from! It comes from the creator of Heaven and Earth, the Moon and the Stars, the Day and the Night, the Summer and Winter, Today and of course tomorrow in Eternity with Him!
Prayer
Father God be with us today, help us to find peace and our place with you. Help us to temper, weather and respond positively to the storms of life. Help us to remain calm even when we face rejection, resentment and red angry persons. Help us to be the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to be peacemakers, to be Kind and to be Compassionate to all around us in Jesus name. Amen
