Freedom from Covid 19 – Through Pictures, Poems, Psalms and Prayers of 2 Chronicles 7:14 Part 3

Freedom from Covid 19 – Through Pictures, Poems, Psalms and Prayers of 2 Chronicles 7:14 Part 3

Within this scripture there are five parts for which throughout this week I am going to be developing into a practical curriculum which will include the following key points. Each study will have a Picture, a Poem, a Psalm, a Prayer, and a part of this scripture, from 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Part One “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves,” Part Two “and pray and seek my face,” Part Three “and turn from their wicked ways, ”Part Four “then I will hear from heaven’ and Part Five “and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

The author would like to allow all of our Spiritual senses to be ministered to through the reading of the word of God (hearing), Picturing the word of God (seeing), imagining through reading Poetry the feeling (touch) or emotions (taste) how the word of God informs them and finally through reading the Psalms how the word (smells) moves them to Pray.

Part Three “and turn from their wicked ways.”

Picture for Deceitful:

Poem for Deceitful:

Tonight I want to warn you, about the devil’s tricks . . .

and some of the masked ways he loves to get his kicks.

He has a bag of treats, filled with plenty of sweets he uses

them to tempt us as he roams on our streets.

Inside his goodie bag,

are perversions of all kinds some

will warp our souls others with deprave our minds.

The devil is pretty sneaky,

his treats are his disguises

he offers them with a smile

so we will believe in all his lies.

He is bold and he is daring, on any door he will

knock looking to deceive all he can as he goes around the block.

So tonight I am warning you,

be sober, vigilant, and alert . . .

for the devil he will devour you

and you will end up being his dessert!

1 Peter 5:8

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about,

seeking whom he may devour.

Psalm for Deceit:

Psalm 101

”I will sing of steadfast love and justice. to you, O LORD, I will make music.

2 I will ponder the way that is blameless. Oh when will you come to me?

I will walk with integrity of heart within my house.

3 I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless.

I hate the work of those who fall away. it shall not cling to me.

4 A perverse heart shall be far from me; I will know nothing of evil.

5 Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy.

Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart I will not endure.

6 I will look with favor on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me;

he who walks in the way that is blameless shall minister to me.

7 No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house;

no one who utters lies

shall continue before my eyes.

8 Morning by morning I will destroy all the wicked in the land,

Prayer to Overcome Deceit:

God, by Your divine grace I will not be deceived. I will not accept the lies of the enemy that are against You and against Your Holy Commandments; against the truth about who Jesus Christ is: God in human form, Lord and Savior, born of a virgin, died on a cross, who on the 3rd day was physically and gloriously raised from the dead.

He is King, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is my Lord. He is my Savior. I pledge my total love and allegiance to Jesus Christ.

You have given me the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit. He will lead me and He will guide me away from error into all truth. I am a sheep of your pasture. Your sheep hear your voice and the voice of a stranger I will not follow.

Thank you, God, for giving me wisdom and discernment in these last days to not only lead my life but to lead my family, to lead my spouse and to lead my children in the ways of justice, truth, and righteousness.

Dear God in Heaven, I will not accept the lies of the enemy against my own soul, against my own life and against my better judgment. I reject all forms of deception that the enemy has tried to sow into my own heart from childhood to this point in my life.

I come against every lie that has tried to find a home in my thought life, in my mind, in my heart, and in my soul and I reject it in Jesus’ name. I receive the truth of what the Word of God declares me to be. I am a child of God.

I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am loved by God, called by God, chosen by God, anointed by God, and appointed by God for such a time as this. My life counts. My life matters. I have a purpose.

I have a future and I have a destiny that I must fulfill through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. I will remain true to the word of God and the teachings of scripture.

In Jesus name. Amen.
